01The end-of-year celebration season at companies is officially open.

Check out this post for how to bring the magic of Christmas into your organization, with the tips and free animation we're offering.

The year is coming to an end, and with it the question: what will the company's end-of-year party be like? This action will definitely have a positive impact on employees who may have had a tough year. It's also worth remembering that the goal of these get-togethers is to rebuild connection, bring employees closer together, and create a relaxed atmosphere among professionals. See below what to do to make this date even more special:

02Use your communication channels:

Communication channels can be a great ally for celebrations — using Corporate TV, for example, is an excellent option since it gives you countless possibilities, including:

Christmas tips and fun facts: You can use a themed template to share fun facts, Christmas recipes, and information.

Christmas Quiz: Using the channel to run a game is a fun way to engage employees.

Christmas TBT: Open up a space for employees to share news and memories of the good things that happened throughout the year.

Animations: Share thank-you videos and Christmas animations. Further below, we've made an animation for you to share on your communication channels. Enjoy!

03In-person parties

For in-person parties, you can choose between two options: the first is to use the company's own space to hold the celebration, or rent a space, whether indoor or outdoor like a farm or country house — which, besides fitting with the typical end-of-year heat, also helps with better air circulation. Some activities you can do during the get-together:

Secret Santa: it's some people's nightmare and others' dream, but the truth is it always leads to plenty of stories and laughs that go down in history! It can also be themed — for example, for companies celebrating from home, a "Food Delivery Santa" (where you send some food to the coworker you drew) is a good option.

Talent show: how many employees probably have some amazing hobby you have no idea about? Besides creating a relaxed moment, you'll get to enjoy someone's talent.

Time capsule: you can make a capsule with each employee's wishes for the following year, and open it at the next end-of-year get-together. This kind of action is a great motivator and can be very inspiring and fun.

04See below some ideas for celebrating remotely:

Celebration Kit: If your company has adopted a work-from-home model, an online happy hour can be an interesting choice. But this time, to keep the festive mood going, how about preparing a well-stocked basket for employees? With champagne, glasses, a variety of snacks… That way, everyone can enjoy the same spread while chatting on the video call. Another tip is to create a different backdrop for the party's host — a director or leader — to set it apart from the meetings that happen daily. And don't forget to give recognition and awards during the call.
